v0.10.0 - Astral Gauntlet and Main Menu Revamp
The Main Menu has been redesigned, including new music!
- New Feature - Astral Gauntlet
- Build your deck at the start and receive Gold and Amber based on how many matches you win!
- Costs 1500 Gold to enter.
- Runs end when you reach 9 wins or 3 losses, whichever comes first.
- New Feature - Voting Tickets: Voting Tickets let you vote from the main menu.
- Just like in a match, using a Voting Ticket will show you four random cards you haven’t voted on yet, and your votes are worth double compared to subreddit votes.
- Voting tickets expire when the voting week ends, 9AM PST (UTC - 7) each Friday.
- Ranked and Astral Gauntlet matches award a Voting Ticket when you reach level 2, rather than having in-game voting.
- Voting tickets can also be used to change your vote on a card you’ve already voted on.
- New Keywords
- Scour is now an officially supported keyword. It has its own block in the Card Creator, similar to Silence.
- Innate has been made an official keyword early to resolve some bugs. Innate cards should no longer interfere with each other when you have multiple in your deck.
- Decreased the likelihood of off-affinity cards appearing in Drafts, particularly when those cards are low cost and/or have more ticks.
- Removed Blueprint Drafting in the main menu.
- Improved overall load times.
- Hovering over a player’s deck while they have more than 5 cards in hand will show the hand count, in addition to the deck counts. Also works when hovering over the opponent’s hand.
- The game log is now color-coded by player.
- In-Game Voting Changes
- Modes that support in-game voting will now always present voting cards on the first draft of the game, even if you’ve voted on all the recently submitted cards. Your previous votes will be visible.
- You now automatically in-game upvote cards you submit. (No effect for collaborators)
- Collection (Deck Workshop)
- Removed the distinction between new cards and existing cards in the deck list.
- Added new animations for adding, removing cards from decklist, others
- When you’re out of cards, you’ll no longer see a card on top of your deck.
- The Weekly Creator Award is no longer given for updates.
- Card Creator
- HP and ATK now exist as (non-functional) properties on Actions. This prevents the interaction where trying to change the HP of an Action would change the player’s HP instead.
- Random Card From Outside the Game now allows filtering on Affinity
- New type of animation - One Side - shows an animation on one side of the board.
- New Animations
- (Directed) Fire Bolt
- (Directed) Water Bolt
- (One Side) Fireball Rain
- (One Side) Healing Pool
- (One Side) Lightning Strikes
- (One Side) Poison Cloud
- (One Side) Triple Slash
- (One Side) Vox (already applied to Vox!)
- (Self) Spinning Rings
- Some of the new animations have a “Default Colors” version where the coloring is more complex but can’t be customized.
- Effects that check a card’s blueprint will now work with cards inserted from the Creator. E.g. Fireworks Displays injected by the Creator will now work with PartyCrashers.
- Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused Vanilla Ice Cream and similar effects to stop working.
- Animations that play simultaneously will no longer cause duplicate sound effects.
- Playing a directed animation on more than one card in a graveyard or deck will no longer cause duplicate animations.
